Being the only girl and having three older brothers, none of the hand-me-down options were pink... or purple... or remotely girly. So, Sydney and I decided to "pinkify" the boys old bike. Here is a before shot, all prepped and ready to be painted...

Sydney and I went to Michaels where she picked out some stickers to decorate her bike with. Despite the fact that we were turning something of theirs very girly, the boys got really excited about this project and were anxious to help.
With the addition of training wheels (also pink) Sydney was ready to go. I can't tell you how excited she was to try it out!
So in the end how did Sydney feel about her new bike? I think she was pretty happy with it...
We even got a thumb's up!
