Now that Carter is here, Sam's excitement has not diminished at all, he absolutely adores Carter. Sam will sit and hold Carter for a long time, he has much more patience for it than Sydney who asks to hold Carter and then two seconds later says, "I'm done!"
While Sam is holding Carter he is known to say things like, "When I am holding Carter it feels like a dream!" or "I don't want Carter to grow up, Mom!". He often declares Carter to be the cutest boy baby he has ever seen.
Carter is in danger of being bald however... Sam's favorite thing to do is to rub Carter's head (Sam has always had a thing for hair).
When I told Sam that I had to take Carter to the doctor a couple of weeks ago Sam wanted to know why. I explained that the doctor was just going to make sure Carter was healthy and strong, to which Sam replied, "If he isn't will they put him back in your belly?" Thank goodness, no!
