Looking for Pool Installation?

Well, we must be lame parents, that must be what it comes down to.  See, the neighbor behind us has one of those cool blow-up waterslides, all-the-rage.  They were kind enough to share.  Our next-door neighbor has a cool 12 foot pool (diameter, not depth).  They are also kind and share.  What do we have?  A blue tarp, which for a while was a slip-and-slide, but then the true potential of the tarp was discovered, and also the ingenuity of our little boys.  That blue tarp was turned into a deluxe new swimming pool!  And, I will have you know, all of the little neighbor boys were in our yard all afternoon in this cute little homemade pool. (Okay, so 75% of the fun was in the building of the pool)
Here they are "swimming", and yes, Spencer is playing a recorder.
And here is the Oreo cookie snack after all of their hard work
Spencer and Sydney chillin' by the pool.  Yes, Spencer is still playing a recorder.
What is the deal with the recorder?  Spencer is now in fourth grade, and that is the year they get to learn to play the recorder.   So we sent money into school for the purchase of his recorder.  That day he came home very disgruntled that he did not actually get to bring the recorder home, but that it had to stay at school.  So, in order to further the development of his musical skills, we went to Walmart and bought our own recorder, green, 88 cents.  You should hear the young Beethoven play.  You are all invited out to the fourth grade recorder concert,  I am quite sure it will be a treat!

That is so funny! You do have pretty creative children, I must say.

Hey, that milk carton book is a series of 4! What are you guys trying to do to me? Don't you realize I am a book addict? I want to go to the library and devour them all, but I will get in trouble!! (seriously...you should check my house out to see how much I have neglected it today!)
